Sony launches electronic reader with touch screen:
Sony is selling the new device at $ 179, 40 more than the reader Kindle from Amazon cheaper. However, even with the increased price of $ 29, the reader is still $ 20 cheaper than its price last year. The new handheld reader uses an infrared sensor to detect finger slides or tap of a stylus included with the reader, thus eliminating the need for a special coating that reduces the clarity of the screen.
