The Tornado in Queens also wreaked havoc on the movements of users of public transport at night. Amtrak trains came to their destination late. At least 30,000 customers were without power Thursday night, the spokesman said the utility Consolidated Edison, Alfonso Quiroz. Said the Queens sector was hardest hit, with 27,000 customers without power.
