Hurricane Igor strengthens in Atlantic:
The National Hurricane Center reports that by 4:00 am ET today Hurricane Igor was approximately 1,230 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands. The path of the Hurricane Igor is now towards to the westwards with the speed of 18 mph but it's thought that it want reach major landfall until sometime on Friday.
