Since the trial began on 16 August, Nadja Benaissa acknowledged that she had unprotected sex despite knowing she was HIV positive, and admitted it was a big mistake. "I'm really very sorry from the bottom of my heart," Nadja Benaissa said, adding that she had not realized how much her ex-boyfriend was still suffering."I wish I could turn back time and undo everything done," Nadja Benaissa said the court. "But I know he would never forgive me."
