President Larry Flynt Productions, Michael Klein, said the requirement is not reasonable, as viewers of pornographic content are not interested to see actors using condoms. "We will not back down in respect to production without condoms," Klein said in a statement. "That's what the consumer wants and we deliver." Federal law requires that porn actors are subjected to tests of human immunodeficiency virus 30 days before a shoot. Klein said the company complies with those rules and said that none of their players has failed a test for HIV.
