Dormant volcano (Mount Sinabung) erupts in Indonesia after 400 years:

Surono said the previous eruption of The Dormant Volcano Mount Sinabung occurred in 1600, so the observers do not know the pattern of eruptions of the volcano and are monitoring closely for the busiest. The evictions began Friday on the slopes of the volcano, at the first signs of activity. Up to 10,000 people who fled the scene are in government buildings, campuses and other places of worship for evacuees in two near by villages.
