Al-Qaida in Yemen is the greatest threat to U.S. security:
"We see that al Qaeda has had major losses and is unable to recover in order to stay on the offensive,''said a senior U.S. official familiar with CIA assessments. Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) as calls his group based in Yemen, is''rising''the official said.''Now we are more concerned with AQAP than before." Al Qaida in Yemen seems to be more agile and aggressive, the officials said. The group only took a few months set in motion a plan that succeeded in putting a suspected suicide bomber on a plane to Detroit on Christmas Day.
