The Galeras Volcano, ordered to Evacuate:



There are deposits of ash "with small thickness, covering the area as a thin film,until distances" verified maximum of 30 km as the crow flies from Galeras,according to Ingeominas.The Galeras, one of the largest active volcanoes in Colombia, is located about 700 miles southwest of Bogota, has a height of 4276 meters above sea level and in recent years has seen dozens of eruptions, the most recent January.
